1. What situation sometimes develops on fourth or fifth street?
You will be casino betting with what appears to be the best hand, but it has the potential to cost you a great deal of money.

You start with J♥ 4♦ J♣ . You raise and are called by a player whose upcard is lower than yours. On fourth street he catches an ace and you catch an inconsequential card.
3. Why does the ace create a problem for you?
It might have hit his hand.

Bets on fourth street after their opponent checks, and again on fifth street.
5. What happens if they are against aces up?
They will be check-raised on fifth street, and will frequently continue with little chance.
6. Suppose you play your hand differently. When your opponent catches an ace on fourth street and checks, you check behind him. What’s going to happen?
Your opponent will usually bet on fifth street. If he has aces up you will save a bet and a half. If he has a pair with an ace you have cost yourself a small fraction of a bet. And if he has nothing, you have extracted money from him.
7. On fourth poker street what if you catch a card that goes well with your door card?
You shouldn’t check.
8. What is important to understand in stud?
The better board should be in command.
9. What if your opponent wants to relinquish that right?
It’s often better to take a free card.
